Contemporary Garden Layout
This large Surrey garden was a featureless plain lawn with a putting green, all fenced in with bamboo. The homeowners desired a new contemporary garden with two lower seating areas, a water feature, loose planting and a nod to rewilding but needed help to bring it altogether.
So we explored several layout concepts to seamlessly link these features within a new garden landscape, linked by meandering paths through a mini-meadow and all enveloped by naturalistic planting.
Mediterranean Design Concept
Having had a pergola newly built, the clients of this London urban garden commissioned me to inject this new area with a vibrant Mediterranean feel.
We explored different tonal palettes for both hard fixtures and planting schemes to allow the clients to execute for themselves an inviting sunny corner at the bottom of their garden. The result is a beach-side al-fresco cafe feel for them to enjoy with friends during most of the year.
